MSO performs Mahler 5

This is an MSO concert not to miss! It will be INCREDIBLE!

The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Andrew Davis will be performing Mahler's triumphant fifth symphony. This symphony is the halfway point of the MSO doing the full Mahler Cycle- with them performing all of the Mahler Symphonies over the next few years. Symphony number 5's conclusion depicts a joyous period of Gustav Mahler's life- a successful romance, and if you've never heard of Mahler or listened to any of his music- this symphony is a FANTASTIC introduction.

There are three performances- with the Friday night performance being at 8pm at Robert Blackwood Hall at Monash University, and the remaining two (2pm Saturday and 8pm Monday) being at Hamer Hall. Tickets range from $40-$150.
